Why should I be in the weekly Buzz if I'm already in Thursday's DI?

The Thursday Buzz is distributed in The Daily Illini on campus, but additional copies are also distributed by themselves in many off-campus locations. If your ad appeals to a broader community audience, this is a great buy. Buzz is a perfect venue for services, merchandise, jobs, and real estate that are targeted to young professionals and grad students, too.

What's the difference a line ad and a display ad?

A display ad is bordered, a line ad is not. That’s the simple explanation. In a display ad, you’re paying for the space and the content of that space is up to you. You can include graphics, different fonts, your logo, etc. With a line ad, you a paying for the words in the ad. You have more limited choices for how you ad looks, but can sometimes be more cost effective.

Yes, you can add a logo or photo to your line ad for an additional cost. But, keep in mind that these can only appear one column wide, so you will be limited in the size of the image.
