Consider the Illini Media Building for your next meeting or event. The Illini Media Building at 512 E. Green St., is situated in the heart of campustown with a bustling streetside appeal. In addition to being the home of The Daily Illini, Buzz, WPGU-FM 107.1, Technograph, and Illio Yearbook, our location boasts a 1500 sq.ft. lobby and 3200 sq.ft. of convertible event space.
Lobby Kiosk space
Looking for a spot on campus with a short-term commitment? Have a Green St. location only when you need it when you use a kiosk space in our lobby. 6’ x 8’ space during regular office hours- $100/day
Event space
The 4th floor of our 512 E. Green St. home boasts dramatic floor to ceiling windows, a smaller conference room for smaller meetings, and a balcony with one of the best views of campustown available. This convertible space has been the home of sit-down dinners, banquets, formals, art shows, fashion shows, lectures, and group meetings. Make our home your home for your next event or conference.
Conference room (500 sq. ft.): $50/hr.
4th floor open area only (3200 sq. ft.): $400
4th floor with conference room, balcony & kitchen access: $500
Discounts available for University of Illinois Departments and Registered Student Organizations. Discounts available for use of facilities multiple days.
Event Coordination: Let the Illini Media event staff work with you to put together a package that includes advertising in our multi-media outlets: print, radio, and online.

Can we bring in food?
Yes, you can use any caterer and bring in outside food and beverages. We can also suggest a caterer from those that we’ve worked with for past events.
Can events be held in the night and weekends?
Yes, you are not limited to the business hours of Illini Media. We will accommodate your needs any time of day.
Where can guests park?
Our building is located adjacent to the City of Champaign Lot J. This lot has a pay station where you’ll be asked to pay ahead for the time you’ll be parked in the lot. This lot is free on Sundays. Some metered spaces are also available on Healey, Fifth, and Sixth streets surrounding the building.
